My pronouns are she/they :). How I came into this work:
I’m drawing from 2 decades of operations management, team leadership + communications experience. I work with businesses, organizations and individuals through the process of identifying how we all contribute to oppressive systems and what is possible to dismantle them on route to fostering inclusive environments.
I am also an Indigenous woman who was adopted into a white family at the age of 9 months old. I grew up in an entirely white world just down the road from the largest annual white supremacy gathering in Canada, surrounded by generations of ignorance and discrimination.
Through this life experience, I know racism - not just as a woman of color - but also as a person who thought much like the white communities around me. It’s the only perspective I knew for the first 20 years of my life. This to say, I get it and I know how to co-create the changes we seek.
Working with Nadi brought so much clarity to not just my business but my own personal journey in diversity, equity and inclusion. She is incredibly creative in ways to implement appropriate next steps for my business as well as powerfully knowledgeable in how oppression exists in our society.
